NEMO BELT

A home-based pregnancy monitoring system

The Problem

Telehealth technology has been implemented to aid pregnant women in reducing the number of travels to the hospitals, especially during the pandemic. However, there are no devices to monitor fetal status continuously at home for more detailed insights and early risk detection.

Solution

We develop Nemo Belt – a wearable device using novel non-contact technology to continuously monitor unborn baby’s wellbeing at home and connect with doctors for remote health monitoring and check-ups.

Improve clinical outcomes

Provide live information of fetal well-being with high signal quality

Minimize risks

Minimize risks by being able to react faster to emergencies if anomalies happen

Provide convenience

Conduct virtual wellbeing checks at home with non-intrusive sensors, delivering detailed insights and reducing unnecessary visits to the hospital

Cost-effective

Reduce travelling cost while being in the same price range with other heartbeat counter devices in the market (around $80)

Market Potential

Our market is Vietnam and our innovation will target two main categories of end customers: hospitals and pregnant women, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies.
